It’s A New Day and A New World
Why do I use this strange title? How is it a new day and a new world?
Well, the day is what we make of it. When we change the way we view who we are and our responsibility to affect the world around us in a positive way, we actually change the world around us. I believe these words whole-heartedly and know this to be true through my own efforts.
I know that life is not pleasant or beautiful when so much ugliness is around us, yet we see what we choose to see. Just because we know the reality of life, it doesn’t mean that we have to be what the world says we have to be. We can be the kind of person we choose and live our lives accordingly!
It’s been a long time since I wrote on this blog because no one has been stopping by to read what I write. I thought about deleting until I came across it again today. However, once I decided to write something, I had no idea of what to say until I started typing and the words just started forming on the page.
I believe this is how we should live our lives; meaning that we shouldn’t think so much about what we are going to say or do, we just need to start doing it. Who cares if any one is paying attention to us or what we have to say! Right?
We may never know who we affect by our words or even if we do, but we need to do it anyway – at least do it for ourselves. Writing is how I came through my depression after 9/11/2001 and it blessed my life. What I wrote actually turned into a 6 six series, with more to come.
It’s true, I do hope that someone reads this posting because I believe there is inspiration in this writing. My point is that we have to live our lives according to the inspiration we receive right now. How else can we know how to face the scary times ahead and know what to do, unless we live by the spirit and the promptings that come to us?
Now, if you just happened to stop by for a visit, please leave me a note to let me know that you came by . . . just so I know that someone actually read this. Although I don’t care whether you read it or not, being human, I do like knowing that I’ve been heard.
In conclusion, let me say that I hope people will become more comfortable with who they are and not try so hard to be acceptable to their peers. I’ve noticed that, as I write, I am becoming more and more confidant in who I am. Perhaps this is your solution as well for your own lack of confidence. Writing is very satisfying.

Life’s Treasure Box
What gems have you put into your Life’s Treasure Box? We need to collect the type of gems that cannot be washed away in a life storm or stolen by a thief. Family, virtue, love, worthiness, trust, integrity, and loyalty to correct principles are the type of gems that cannot be taken from us. Those are the type of gems that I have collected, and I hope you are presently collecting. Otherwise, anything else can be lost and leave you feeling empty and without value.
I ask this question because many of us in these times spend a lot of time collecting the wrong type of gems and when things go bad and we lose our job, our home, our cars, and all the stuff we’ve collected in our lives that we believe gives us worth and value, then we feel destroyed and want to run away from our life or some commit suicide…all because they lost material things that don’t really matter.
Do you know people like this? Are you a person like this? Are you happy now but are afraid of what your life would be like if you lost all that you have now and your standing in society? Do you believe that you will lose your friends and family if you lose your income and prestige that you have now? If you feel any of these feelings then you need to start collecting other treasure right now that will be there no matter what happens to your job and your income.
I learned this hard lesson when I lost my own job several years back. I was getting bill collector calls right and left and I was unable to get another job. I was out of work for a year and my husband was nagging me about getting a job. He did not appreciate that I had been going out on 25 job interviews in that week alone, and he didn’t care because he wanted me working and bringing in income. I was anxious to get a job too because I had bill collectors calling me day and night.
One day something clicked in my mind and I realized all that I had didn’t matter. The phone calls didn’t matter. I realized that nothing mattered but my family and the life that I had right then. I was happy for the first time in a long time and I didn’t care if I got a job or not. When that change in mindset occurred, I found a change in myself, my daughter, and my husband. And then I got an job. Within a month of working, I noticed my relationships changed with my family and I was no longer happy.
You can do what you want, and you can derive what you want from this report, but whatever you decide is relevant, I hope you will at least try to collect the gems in this life that really bring you happiness and joy. Peace of mind comes when you are satisfied with your life, and that my friend is worth more than any treasure you can find on earth.
Why Do We Make Network Marketing So Difficult?
Network Marketing is not as difficult as it may seem or that we make it! It’s difficult because there are too many so-called experts who are anxious to tell you (or sell you) their newest and proven tecnniques for creating wealth. I do not include Mike Dillard or Mike Klingler in that group. But this belief is exactly the opposite of what you need to be thinking when you build a successful life and business.
You do not want to be like someone else because these people are a dime a dozen. There is always someone telling you that they can make you rich with their system. They are tapping into your desire to have more and more and more and more and more from life. This attitude is exactly the thing that makes you unsuccessful.
With your mindset being to become rich, owning things, doing things that rich people do, and lavish yourself with more things that money can buy, you may find wealth but you will not feel satisfied or complete. You will feel like you are missing something very important in life, and you are!
When you build your business on relationships that have value, when you feel commaradery with people because you come from the same mindset, then whatever you achieve is a blessing! You will understand what it means to live a life with meaning and purpose, and you will know what it means to have gratitude for the things that money cannot buy as well as what it can. Wealth and riches will mean something much different then.
Yes, Attraction Marketing works, but what do you really want to attract to you. You become the person you associate with, and you become the person you think you are. That means you must have a clear understanding of who you want to be, what you honestly want in life that is NOT associated with income and wealth, and who you want in your life from today forward.
When I asked myself the same questions I just asked you, I learned that I didn’t like what I was pursuing and I didn’t like the people I had in my life at the time. I realized that was not the life I wanted to live. It took a major change in my thinking in order to become the person I wanted to become. I feel good about who I am now and what I want in life. I had been indoctrinated with the belief system I was taught by my associations and mentors. It was then that I found an organization that taught me how to live a better life, one that has meaning and purpose, by developing the characteristics I needed to have when I succeed in life and business.
I have learned how to be happy with what I have now and only want what is a blessing to me and to the people with whom I associate. I want to help people have what they want by sharing what I know about being successful in life and business. I teach people how to dream but in different terms than most leaders in Network Marketing teach.
Network Marketing works because it taps into people’s dreams. They take people’s most precious desires and turn them into dollar signs for themselves. People who have dreams associated with their precious desires think there is only one way to have it. They think dreams are achieved by making more money – lots more money – when in fact, it isn’t the money that fulfills dreams, it’s developing a relationship with people that give them what they want and then gives us what we want.
It is a different way of thinking. If you think this way, then that means you need to break the chains that created this mistake in thinking. People who are truly happy in life and are wealthy are that way because of the life they created for themselves and their families. Haven’t you noticed that some very wealthy people relate to you like they were common people? They relate to everyone and love everyone. There is no pretense about them because what you see is who they really are, and who they really are is a kind-hearted and likable person. Money has nothing to do with their relationships with you. In fact, I suspect that you think of being like them when you think about being wealthy.
Now the question is whether you are willing to think differently. Are you ready to develop relationships with people because of who they are and not because of your need to make money from them to fulfill your own dreams. People who always think about what they want to obtain will only focus on that, but it takes a major shift to think about another person and what they want. Do you understand what I just said? Are you ready to accept a change in your present thinking?
In my Dale Carnegie Leadership training, I learned that we need to make people feel valued and important to us. When I discovered that simple concept and put it into practice, people around me began to respond to me more positively. I was amazed that it was so easy for me to change my thinking. All I had to do was go back to doing what I used to do before I became so consumed with my business goals and achieving what I wanted. My change in thinking changed the relationships around me drastically.

Inspiration: Aspect to Succeed in Life
This is an enlightening video. It puts things in perspective for me so I want to share it with you.
I want you to know that I believe in this message. It is amazing the power the mind has and what we have within us when we believe. I know that what we conceive and believe can truly become reality. This has happened to me several times.
The best example I can give is when I went shopping for a car. After I had taken a car for a test drive, I came back and told the dealer that I hated the car. I had already completed the paper work and the sale was basically done. Now I was telling the salesman that I hated the car.
The salesman said, “Okay Judy, let’s quit screwing around.” He told another man to bring out number #!@&*$. Basically, I had already described the car I really wanted when we walked through the car lot together, even though I did not realize the car I was describing was in the shop.
I said I wanted a V6, four door vehicle with power steering, power windows, and anti-lock brakes. I had a variety of things I wanted but I did not mention them all, including the color teal. I had rented a car that and I liked but I did not tell the salesman what car the was because I didn’t think I could afford it.
The salesman knew what I wanted and had the other guy bring it out. It was exactly what I had in my mind, even down to the color. It was a the new Grand Am in the new teal color (that was back in 1994). I can tell you many story just like that one about our thoughts becoming reality. When you envision it in your mind, your actions make it come to pass. So absolutely yes, your dreams can become reality.
